In recent years, a lot of world-leading technologies are applied in the hospital. Two reproductive technologies fill the international gap. The first healthy baby by using “MaReCS” to precisely block choromosome balanced translocations transferring to offspring was born here. A number of technologies fill in the domestic gap. A test-tube baby was born thanks to the “genetic diagnosis before embryonic-implantation with unicellular SNP microarray technology”. Another test-tube baby was born by applying activating dormant follicle in vitro and ovarian tissue auto-transplantation to cure premature ovarian failure. “Double core test-tube baby” that had received genetic diagnosis before embryonic-implantation with “kernel mapping and SNP chip” combined diagnosis technology to cure Huntington's disease was also born. The hospital successfully carried out “identical twin living donor liver transplantation”, genetic blocking of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and endoscopic gastroplasty and clinically applied the “Han Xinwei-type blood vessel recoverable stent”. In addition, many skills and technology that are applied also lead the nation. The hospital is able to perform organ transplantations including heart, liver, kidney, lung, pancreas, small intesetine, cornea and skin. The number of renal and liver transplantation is among the most in China. Pediatric renal transplantation, in particular, has topped the list for five consecutive years. 3D printing technology has been implemented in many clinical specialties. Da Vinci surgical robot has been used in urinary, gynaecology, liver and gall, the stomach and intestine, chest and other operations, marking that surgery in Henan has entered the AI era.
